Meditative Space This design was for a neglected plot of land that was once a part of a late 19th century bustling fish cannery located next to what is now the Anacortes ferry terminal, connecting the pristine San Juan Islands to the mainland in Washington. The design is to use built construction as a means to measure, capture and appreciate the subtle changes of the site. The ever-changing room measures the varying light and water conditions at the site and houses a single pile amongst hundreds of other piles at the site. |
